As an independent shipbroker, our main activities are the sale and purchase of newbuilding and second-hand vessels. We also assist clients in finding most suitable ship designs and financing package.
Newbuilding Brokerage
We enjoy a close and direct relationship with all major Chinese shipyards based on significant business already concluded. Our dedicated and experienced team has assisted owners to place multiple newbuilding contracts in China, covering not only most of major state-owned shipbuilding groups but also many well-established private shipyards, for a variety of vessel types, including bulkers, tankers, container vessels, jack-up barges and OSVs.
Second-hand Brokerage
Our experienced team enable our access to the global ship-owning community, ensuring a full professional second-hand ship S&D service, from accurate market research to assisting a smooth pre-purchase inspection, identifying right candidates to advising the best negotiation strategy, complementing a professional contract negotiation to a successful closing.
We have gained a dedicated focus across dry and wet markets, as well as specialized knowledge on Dredgers, Jack-up Barges, Yachts, OSVs, and Passenger ships. Having assisted in probably the greatest number of Dredger and Jack-up Barge sales from China over the past 15 years, our brokers can assure you of professionalism in these specialized sectors.
Ship Design & Financing
Although BBS is not a Ship design office nor do we offer ship finance directly, our experienced team members, work closely with our partner designers and financiers, and in doing so help our clients in finding the best available designs and can guide on a suitable financing package for their sales & purchase requirements.
We pride ourselves on providing these added value service and solutions that are outside of the traditional brokerage model.
