Best Bridge Shipbrokers (BBS) is a London based Shipbroker offering expertise, brokerage and consultancy for newbuilding and second-hand ship sale and purchase as well as assistance to clients in ship designing and ship financing. Our concept is new but we boast over 60 years shipbroking experience from front line positions held in shipbroking houses.

BBS is the exciting ambition of founder Jiulong Huang. Jiulong qualified as a Naval Architect, enjoying an enviable reputation from 8 years working with one of Japan’s long established shipbuilders. Jiulong was soon called on to add his hand to ship newbuilding commercial discussions and was then sought by one of London’s top brokers to spearhead their Chinese newbuilding activity. Jiulong spent 13 years dedicated to both Newbuilding and second-hand sales, being promoted to main board director within 4 years of joining the group. Jiulong’s experience benefits from concluding considerable business in most spectres of ship sale and purchase in China and worldwide.

Tony Masters joined BBS in 2021 following 35 years success at one of London top shipbroking offices. Tony entered shipbroking in 1982 after finishing Engineering studies. Tony is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and is called on to lecture on specialist subjects at the London Institute. Although recognized for his vast experience in ship sale and purchase, Tony has concluded many period chartering contracts for dry cargo vessels as well as tankers.

BBS’s clients enjoy success throughout the globe with interests covering a wide spectrum of shipping business, be it Newbuilding design concept to ship financing, from Offshore platform projects to more conventional dry cargo or tanker demand.
